An Intern from Harvard College
Throughout my year-long internship at Weiss I learned so much about the mechanics of the investment management industry. I was so encouraged by the openness of everyone at the firm; a huge part of my learning can be attributed to the mentorship, attention, and teamwork I found with the fulltime employees. Not only did they patiently answer all my questions, I also learned so much about where they come from through their stories and anecdotes. Weiss truly is an exceptionally diverse firm. As someone who is just starting to explore the rest of the world, hearing about growing up in India, or stories about China added a dimension to my internship that I simply could not have had elsewhere.
Although I had admired the economic success of the company long before beginning my internship, I have become equally impressed that such a high level of performance has been supplemented by such a tight-knit, supportive workforce. It was such a great pleasure to get to know everyone at Weiss, I can’t say enough.
