Weiss Asset Management is an excellent company. They constantly emphasize the highest ethical standards in work, and are able to maintain a level of morale that I have never heard of in the private sector.

Everyone that I worked with was open and friendly. The office here at Weiss should be a model for the private sector. The rapport amongst their employees is amazing. The atmosphere is very collegial, with added emphasis on research and an open exchange of ideas. The office even schedules monthly outings for employees, I especially enjoyed the fishing!

My work at Weiss focused mainly on econometric testing and statistical analysis. I worked on a variety of projects involving markets all over the world. I soon found that, despite the immense brainpower and sheer number of doctoral degrees in employ at Weiss, both my ideas and my input were highly valued; this was not a “make copies and get coffee” internship horror story. On the contrary, I was almost immediately involved in several projects at once, advising traders, and other interns on state of the art statistical methodology.

I was very impressed by this organization. I highly recommend Weiss to anyone interested in finance. They have an outstanding attitude, work environment, and a strong commitment to the highest standards in the industry.
